Our Girls

Sassy, lives up to her name! She is sweet, gentle, and loving girl. However, she has lots of spunk. Loves to play with my 7 year old daughter, chasing her around the house and playing tag. Sassy is a long haired black and tan dapple. She is definitely the family companion, traveling with the family all over Oregon and Washington to all kinds of rabbit and cavy shows. She adds lots of joy to the trips no doubt. Sassy is overall a very well mannered dog and knows when she needs to listen and when she can use her cuteness and spunk to full advantage. She is a huge part of our family and is loved by all dearly!

Sassy is retiring from breeding January 2019, but she will be staying here with us.

Lady Hot Cocoa, Lady is now retired from our breeding program and staying with a wonderful family and her grandson Charley in Oregon.

Raven

We have been wanting a brindle Finney baby for some time and an ee cream and we got them both in one litter, could not be happier! These two sisters will stay together and be very much loved. And have some fun in 4-H!

Bella

A beautiful isabella dapple smooth hair girl. She dominated over all of her siblings in size and personality. She is a handful but super fun puppy!

C1 BELLA’S HAPLOGROUP
Congratulations, C1 is a very exotic female lineage! It is more closely associated with maternal lineages found in wolves, foxes and jackals than with other dog lineages. So it seems dogs in this group have a common male dog ancestor who, many thousands of years ago, mated with a female wolf! This is not a common lineage in any breed, though a good number of German Shepherds and Doberman Pinchers are C1. It is also found in breeds as diverse as Peruvian Inca Orchids and Pekingese; it is rarely found amongst Labrador Retrievers, Border Collies, Siberian Huskies, or Cocker Spaniels. Despite its fascinating origins, it is widely distributed around the globe, and even shows up frequently among Peruvian village dogs. It almost certainly survived at low frequency in Europe for millennia and then was dispersed outside of Europe by colonialism, though not as successfully as some other lineages.
